Guidelines for AFA Sponsorship of a White Coat Ceremony

1. A limited number of sponsorships are available for four-year residential Au.D. programs. Recipients must be first, second or third year students.

2. The Au.D. program requesting sponsorship must provide the number of students who will be receiving white coats, including their names and year in the Au.D. program.

3. The Au.D. program requesting sponsorship must provide the date, time, and location of the White Coat Ceremony. Approximately 2 months advance notice is required.

4. Once approved for sponsorship, the Au.D. program will be responsible for ordering the white coats from Advance for Audiologists' healthcare shop using this order form. Contact the AFA for AFA Approval Code and more information.

5. The white coats have been pre-selected. Coats will be short-length and include two lines of embroidery (optional). See photo for more information.

6. The AFA will pay Advance for Audiologists directly for the cost of the coats.

7. A representative of the AFA may attend and participate in the White Coat Ceremony. AFA's sponsorship should be recognized in any written materials or during the program.
